Cheryl L. Deppe, 54, of New Richmond, Wisconsin, passed away after a year-long battle with cancer on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at the Deerfield Gables in Richmond.

She was born Feb. 21, 1962, to Nathan and Viola Christianson in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota. Cheryl graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 1980. Living in New Richmond, she was a self-employed upholsterer. Cheryl was a devoted mother and over the years, happily made many sacrifices for her children. She was a devout Christian and carried with her a strong faith. Throughout her life, Cheryl always loved music and she proudly listened to her family perform at their church. She will be missed by her children, Elise (Taylor) Simpson, Joseph (fiance’ Alleah) Deppe and  Matthew Deppe; grandchildren, Henry and Belle Simpson; mother, Viola Christianson; siblings, Dawn (Dean) Peterson, Karen “Casey” (Dan) Zander and Kristi (Don) Selchow; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Nathan Christianson.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, at The Bridge Bible Church, 701 Rivard St., Somerset, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 25, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bakken-Young Beebe Chapel in New Richmond and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
