The gift of a park still flourshing today

Have you driven by the corner of Worlein Park (1st Drive and 1st St NW) recently?

In the recent months, the Worlein family has once again rejuvenated the corner that housed their former funeral home.

The history of this passive park began to unfold in 1998 when the agreement was signed on Sept. 8 by Margaret Worlein and the city as the Worlein family gifted to the city the property and what it would be transformed into.
