This year on the backside of the ballot you will find Pamela King up for election for District Court Judge.

Judge King was appointed to the district court in October of 2015. Although she has only been a judge for a short time, she is doing an outstanding job and should continue to be a judge.

Judge King can hear cases in all eleven counties that make up the Third Judicial District including; Olmsted, Fillmore, Wabasha, Winona, Steele, Mower, Rice, Freeborn, Waseca Dodge, and Houston.  So she will be on the backside of the ballot if you live in any of these places.

A hallmark of a good judge is to be impartial and decide cases on the merits. In fact, judges swear to do so when they take the oath of office. For the past year Judge King has done just that. She understands that listening to litigants and really understanding their positions is essential to making fair and just decisions. Judge King should be given the opportunity to continue to be a judge in this area. Please renumber the back of back of your ballet and join me in voting for Judge Pamela King.
