Grand Meadow cruises past Houston

The top-ranked Grand Meadow football team upended Houston (7-3 overall) 49-22 in a Section 1 nine man football semifinal in GM Friday.

The Superlarks (10-0 overall) led 35-0 at the half as Christophor Bain ran for 175 yards and three TDs.

GM will now play Spring Grove in the Section 1 nine man football title game in RCTC 5 p.m. Friday. GM, which has won the last three nine man state titles, beat the Lions 47-34 Oct. 19.
