The Austin girls soccer team had a bit of bad timing in Albert Lea Thursday.

With the game scoreless at halftime and a looming thunderstorm on the way, the Tigers (9-6 overall, 5-6 Big Nine) connected on a 20-yard goal that eventually became the difference maker in a 1-0 loss for Austin.

Shortly after the goal, the game was called due to lightning.
