Bobcats hold off late Bruin rally

The Austin Bruins lost 4-3 to the Bismarck Bobcats (4-3 overall) in Bismarck, N.D. Saturday.
Austin’s Liam Thrawl and Jan Stefka each scored a goal in a 30-second spurt in the third period to make it a one-goal game but the Bruins couldn’t get the equalizer.
Robbie Goor stopped all 11 shots in relief in the third period for the Bruins (2-3-1 overall) and Jake Kucharski took the loss as he stopped 11 of the 15 shots he saw.
