Blooming Prairie volleyball team falls to NRHEG in five sets

The Blooming Prairie volleyball team lost to New Richland-HEG (10-12 overall, 1-9 Gopher) by scores of 24-26, 25-10, 25-13, 22-25, 15-13 on the road Tuesday.

Sam Wurst piled on 22 kills for BP (7-16 overall, 2-6 Gopher) and Leah Inwards had 27 set assists and 17 digs.

It was the final regular season match for BP.

“Our season didn’t turn out with the amount of wins we wanted, but we had a lot of fun and all the players improved in so many areas and that’s what it’s all about,” BP head coach Jens Levisen said.
