Two Austin Churches are hosting meals this week.

First Congregational Church, 1910 Third Ave. NW, will host a rummage sale and chicken soup luncheon, from  9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday with lunch served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The meal will include  Pennsylvania Dutch chicken soup, fresh hot popovers, home baked pies, beverages. Then from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, First United Methodist Church, 204 First Ave. NW., will host a  chicken-n-biscuit supper. A bake sale starts at 3 p.m.; dinner served starting at 4 p.m. and includes creamed chicken over biscuit, coleslaw, cranberries, pickles, pie and coffee. Tickets will be available at the door. Cost is  $9 for adults, $4 for children 4 to 12 years old, free for children under 4. For more information, call 507-433-8839.
