Joe and Dorothy Kemmerick will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 30.

They were married on a Wednesday morning in 1946 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Meyer, Iowa. They have seven children, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A family celebration is planned.
