The Austin Bruins beat the Bismarck Bobacts (5-4 overall) 4-1 in their home opener in Riverside Arena Friday.
Logan Haskins and Evan Cholak each scored second period goals for the Bruins (4-4-1 overall) and Jake Kucharski stopped 25 shots in net to get the win.
