It’s that time of year that we have traditionally planned a trip to Branson, Missouri.

Last year we took a break, but this year we have pulled out all stops to bring you the best all-around trip with new shows and destinations, Nov. 16-20.

We will begin our five-day tour with some exciting entertainment.

Danny O’Donnell, the popular entertainer, is preparing to take a leave from his stage show after a short stint this winter in Branson.

We have seating arranged for his show.

We are also offering the first of several holiday Christmas shows for you to attend in lieu of Danny.

Another of the productions in Branson is “Moses” at the Sight and Sound Theater. This biblical production will take you back in time with live animals and settings like no other.

Another first is the hottest show around for this season — “Million Dollar Quartet,” Featuring the quartet playing Elvis Presley, Cal Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Johnny Cash.

Two more shows include “All Hands on Deck,” an authentic American show with a nine-piece orchestra and the delightful Dutton Family musical show.

A variation of our trip will include a visit to the Collage of the Ozarks, plus a visit to St Joseph, Missouri for a tour including the Pony Express headquarters and the Jesse James home.

Branson continues to be a huge mecca for entertainment, hosting up to a 100 shows and events a week. We are happy to be again offering this fine entertainment schedule. Final payment is due by Oct. 27.

Please call our travel numbers or stop by the senior center at 400 Third Avenue NE.

We will be contacting those that went on the October trip to the Balloon Fest about a late September meeting. We will have final plans available then.
