Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) presents book to Austin Public Library

This historic book was donated to the Austin Public Library by the Josiah Edson Chapter, and was written by Faye Leach, MN State Vice Regent. The Red Cedar Chapter was previously the local NSDAR Chapter in Austin and was organized on May 31, 1921. In October 2015, the Red Cedar Chapter merged with the Josiah Edson Chapter, Northfield. Potter was noted in the acknowledgments section of the historic book for her significant contribution and assistance with preparing the manuscript for publication. Information concerning monuments/memorials are included from both Mower and Rice Counties.
