The county board is set to discuss a housing abatement, two conditional use permits, zoning permit fees and more at its 1 p.m. regular meeting in the basement board room of the Mower County Government Center, 201 First St. NE.
The board is set to discuss adding two positions to Health and Human Services and to amend its 2016 budget accordingly. Then the board will discuss two conditional use permits: one for Jeff Witt and an at-oriented repair shop in Udulpho Township, and another to extract sand and gravel from Kenneth and Sharon Strum’s property in Racine Township.
Then the board is slated to discuss establishing after-the-fact penalty fees for zoning permits, hear an update on the Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office and discuss a series of assessing agreements with Mower townships for 2017.
