Christine Heller Arnold, 56

Christine Heller Arnold, 56, of Austin, Minnesota, died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, at her home. Christine Wilson was born Dec. 30, 1959, the daughter of Kenneth and Delores ‘Lucky’ (Heller) Wilson. She attended school in Austin before graduating from high school in Canyon City, Colorado. Christine remained in Colorado for many years, moving back to Austin in 2003. On June 18, 2005, she was united in marriage to Randy Arnold at the J.C. Hormel Nature Center. She enjoyed taking occasional trips back to Colorado. Christine was diagnosed with MS a few years ago. She had worked at Mayo Clinic Health System-Albert Lea before being forced to retire due to her health. Christine liked to sing karaoke and watch television, especially the Hallmark Channel. She enjoyed her time at home. Christine will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Arnold of Austin; her son, Andrew Wellen of Colorado; siblings: Jack Wilson of Austin, Dan (Marsha) Wilson of Austin, Steve (Melissa) Wilson of Chaska, Larry Wilson of Austin, Sherrie (Adam) Savko of Columbus, Ohio, and Jennifer (Steve) Dammen of Austin; brothers-in-law: Craig Deyo of Faribault, Robin Hanson and Barry Simmons of Ramsey, Minnesota, Ed (Teresa) Arnold of Austin, Dean Arnold of Austin; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Delores ‘Lucky’ Wilson, her in-laws Robert and Donna Arnold, sister-in-law Cathy Deyo, and brother James in infancy.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Daphne Hamborg officiating. There will be a visitation 12:30 to 2 p.m. immediately preceding the service. Services prearranged and performed by Worlein Funeral Home of Austin.
