The Austin Bruins are about to get set for the upcoming season with a pair of preseason games this week against the Minnesota Magicians. The first game will be at Riverside Arena on 7:05 p.m. Friday and the second contest will be in Richfield 7 p.m. Saturday.

Friday’s home game will run just like a regular season game, with gates opening at 6 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets in advance for just $5 general admission at the following Bruins ticket vendors: Hy Vee, Jim’s Marketplace, Games People Play, Holiday Inn and Austin Conference Center. Season ticket holders and children ages five and under will receive free admission.

Offseason re-alignment in the NAHL saw the Magicians move to the Midwest Division, swapping spots with the Minnesota Wilderness, who join the Central. The Bruins and Magicians will still play four times during the regular season, which will begin September 21 at the NAHL Showcase in Blaine against the Topeka Roadrunners.
