A pair of brothers tap danced their way to awards at the Mower County Fair and the Minnesota State Fair.

Joseph and Levi Lawson, who have been students of Jane Taylor Dance Academy since 2008, took first place on Aug. 8, at the Mower County Fair with their tap dance routine to “Best Day of My Life,” by the American Authors.

They then preformed the routine on Aug. 28 at the Minnesota State Fair where they received the champion award.The duo have been taking dance classes for the last ten years.
