The Blooming Prairie football team beat Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (2-2 overall) 12-8 in BP Friday.

The Awesome Blossoms (3-1 overall) took a 6-0 lead when Lucas Noble had a one-yard TD run and BP went up 12-0 when Seth Peterson hit Tim Wolf for a six-yard TD strike.

Wyatt Grundemeier had 13 tackles and four tackles for a loss in the win for BP.

“Wyatt was kind of all over the field and he came up big for us,” BP head coach Chad Gimbel said.
