The Blooming Prairie football team beat Saint Clair 34-16 on the road Friday.

Saint Clair (0-3 overall) scored on a long kick off return and an 83-yard screen pass, but BP (2-1 overall) held them in check the rest of the night.

BP’s Max Romeo ran for 128 yards and Connor Getchell ran for 92 yards and two TDs. Seth Peterson threw for 202 yards and a TD.

“When we can run and throw the ball, that’s when we’re tough to beat,” BP head coach Chad Gimbel said.
