The Hayfield volleyball team beat Medford (0-1 overall) 24-26, 25-13, 25-19, 25-12 on the road Monday.

The Vikings (2-0 overall) had to battle humid conditions and a slippery court, but they were able to get the win by sharing the wealth. Hayfield (2-0 overall) had five players have at least five kills in the win.

“Offensively, we can be very dangerous team if we can get a good pass from the back row,” Hayfield head coach Jeremy Struck said. “We have a lot of players that can put the ball away.”
