The Austin Blue Sox were a little short-handed as they lost 6-3 to the Savage Outlaws 6-3 in Marcusen Park Wednesday.
The Outlaws (3-6 Section) took the lead for good when they scored three runs in the top of the sixth to go up 6-3. The Blue Sox (9-10 overall, 4-6 Section) had tied the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the third when Clay Eustice knocked in a run and Austin scored two more runs off a Savage error.

The loss means the Blue Sox will likely fall to the bottom half of the Section tournament bracket. Austin will likely open the playoffs on the road Sunday and host a playoff game Monday night in Marcusen.
