Although many students are still in a summer state of mind, more than 320 children went back to school Monday morning as part of the 45/15 school calendar.

According to Austin Public Schools administrative assistant Sharon Alms, 284 students are enrolled at Sumner Elementary School and 40 youngsters at Woodson Kindergarten Center as of this morning.
