An Austin man suffered non life-threatening injuries after crashing his motorcycle into a ditch near Taopi early Sunday morning.

Jacob Scott, 27, was traveling eastbound on Highway 56 around 3:30 a.m. Sunday when he went into the right ditch and tipped over on his 2011 Harley Davidson FLHX, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Scott’s motorcycle sustained severe damage and alcohol was detected in his system. He was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus in Rochester for non-life threatening injuries.
