Tip Inboua, 71, of Austin, Minnesota died Friday evening, July 8, 2016, at her home in Austin.

She was born on Dec.4, 1944, in Laos, the daughter of Kham and Noi Inboua. Tip was married to Joi Maphanh in May 1960 in Laos. Tip moved to the United States in 1981, where she lived in Chicago and then in Stockton, California. In 1998 she moved to Austin. Her husband, Joi Maphanh died on Feb.10, 2014. After the death of her husband, Tip moved to Chaska, Minnesota, in October 2015 to live with her granddaughter Amy Inboua.

Tip is survived by her children Phai (Ken) Khongsavah of Austin, Mai Inboua, Naenh (Don Bounsounn) Heuangsayaseng, and Dang (Lieng) Thonesavanh, all of Stockton, California, Sy Inboua of Austin, Tanh Inboua of Stockton, Chanhdaeng Inboua and David Maphanh of Austin; 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joi Maphanh.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Interment will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the Worlein Funeral Home from 12 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
