Shirley Noble, 80

Shirley Noble, 80, of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie.

Shirley Mae Brudwick was born May 6, 1936, in Austin, Minnesota, the daughter of Edward and Emeline (Johnson) Brudwick. Shirley attended school in Blooming Prairie and was a lifelong Blooming Prairie resident. On May 4, 1954, she was united in marriage to David Noble. The couple later divorced. Shirley was a member of First Lutheran Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and area golf and bowling leagues. Her jobs over the years included positions at Ille Hardware, NAPA, Blooming Prairie Country Club as the manager and at Prairie House Café and J&H Liquor. Some of Shirley’s favorite pastimes included knitting, cooking and camping.

Survivors include her children; Mark (Becky) Noble of Blooming Prairie, Diane (Steve) Schroeder of New Richland and Linda (Bill) Stead of Eagan; eight grandchildren, Adrian Noble, Elizabeth (Robert) Salinas, Angela (Kyle) Krueger, Anthony Noble, Amber (Rob) Vrieze, Jennifer (Jens) Wyrum, Heather (Will) Onkka and Jeremy (Michelle) Kruckeberg; ten great-grandchildren; special friend David Ressler and his family of Blooming Prairie; brothers, Dean (Margo) Brudwick of Mankato and George (Judy) Brudwick of Rochester; one sister, Izzy (Mike) Taylor of Austin; brother-in-law, Harold Underwood of Florida and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debra Jean Noble and a sister, Jeanette Underwood.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2016, at First Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie with Pastor Charles Leonard and Pastor Heidi Heimgartner officiating. Visitation will take place from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the church.
