Officers responded to a burglary in the 1000 block of First Place Northeast around 11 p.m. Monday.

According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, the victim reported that a small safe, which contained an undisclosed amount of currency and an iPod, was stolen sometime during the day. The iPod is valued at $450 and the safe $100.

There are no suspects at this time.
