While businesses are getting ready to reap the benefits of Hormel Foods Corp.’s 125th anniversary celebration on Friday, some public office are looking to clear out in time for the celebration.

The Mower County Jail and Justice Center, 201 Second Avenue Northeast, and Mower County Government Center, 201 First Street Northeast, will close at noon Friday, as the celebration will take place on the north lawn green space of the justice center.

The Law Enforcement Center will not be closed.

Austin Public Library will be closed Friday, and Austin Parks & Recreation will close at 2 p.m.
