Some key numbers related to Volkswagen’s admission that it programmed diesel cars to cheat on emissions tests:

— 475,000: Number of cars with 2-liter diesel engines in the U.S. that Volkswagen has agreed to buy back or repair under a $15 billion settlement released last month. The settlement may get preliminary approval from a federal judge on Tuesday, with final approval likely this fall.
