Food Network Host and U.S. Air Force veteran Sunny Anderson will join the Spamerican Tour in Austin Friday, supporting the Operation Gratitude cause and showcasing her new recipe: Operation Spam Gravy with Biscuits.

Anderson will host a cooking demonstration on the main stage from 4:25 to 5:15 p.m. Friday. She will then be available for a meet and greet at the Spamerican Tour truck from about 5:30 to 7 p.m. for interviews, signing autographs of her cookbook and taking pictures with fans.

In the Spamerican Tour’s second year, the Spam brand is partnering with Operation Gratitude, a volunteer-based organization that sends care packages and letters to U.S. Service Members overseas, veterans and their families as well as new recruits and first-responders here at home. The brand is supporting Operation Gratitude’s goal of sending the 2 millionth care package in 2018 by pledging a $1 donation for every letter written in-market and online at www.spam.com.
