Austin Post 91 Legion baseball team splits with Rochester Patriots

The Austin Post 91 Legion baseball team split a doubleheader against the Rochester Patriots to close out its regular season in Rochester Thursday.

Austin (15-6 overall) won the first game 6-1 and it dropped the nightcap 9-2.

Alex Ciola knocked in three runs and Jake Reinartz pitched seven innings without allowing an earned run in the first game.

Austin will open the District playoffs in Marcusen Park Tuesday.
