Tempestt Noel Haymore, 28, of Austin was convicted of gross misdemeanor third-degree damage to property and misdemeanor fifth-degree assault inflicting bodily harm. She initially faced two other felony charges of first degree burglary, but they were dismissed in a plea agreement.

She was sentenced to two years of supervised probation with one year supervised and one year unsupervised. She must also write a letter of apology to the victim. If she violates the terms of her probation, she will serve a year in Mower County Jail.

According to a court complaint, Haymore allegedly broke into a home at the 800 block of 12th Avenue Southwest on Aug. 8 after she found her boyfriend there. The victim, who was in the shower at the time, later told police she came out of the bathroom to discover Haymore had allegedly smashed a mirror and a TV.

Haymore left with her boyfriend around 4:30 p.m. but returned about 10 minutes later with Morgan. Another victim told police Haymore allegedly forced her way around her to get inside the home with a bottle of bleach. The second victim reported Haymore poured bleach all over the walls, floor, on furniture and clothes, and more.

Haymore then allegedly got a bottle of antifreeze and poured it inside the first victim’s car.

The second victim yelled for Haymore to stop but was allegedly punched in the face by Morgan. Haymore and Morgan then allegedly knocked the second victim to the ground before they hit and kicked her, according to the complaint.
