Soak in summer with senior center picnic

Published 7:01 am Sunday, June 19, 2016

Wednesday, June 22, at noon we are having a picnic in the lot.

We are grilling chicken sandwiches or a hamburger. With that you get baked beans, chips and dessert for only $5. Everyone is welcome.

If the weather is good we will be on the west side of the building where picnic tables are set up for you. If it is raining you can eat inside.

At 2 p.m. on Wednesday you are invited to attend our fairy garden class. You may have come to the fairy garden class last year, heard of or seen a fairy garden. Here is your chance to see how to make one. The class is free. This fun will be by Jen from Dolan’s. She will have items available for purchase including your very own fairy garden. These are adorable and fit in your garden or in your house. To register for this fun class, stop by or call the senior center front desk at 507-433-2370.

We look forward to seeing you at our many programs at the senior center. Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 sandwich for 50 cents. Tuesday, June 21, we are having Tator Tot Hotdish for only $2. You are always welcome at the center. See you here.
