Blooming Prairie’s “Old Fashioned” Fourth of July parade has been a treasured family tradition for generations and we hope to see it continue for generations to come. Some of you may have been introduced to this parade by your parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles when you were a child and now you are starting your own family tradition by bringing your children each year.

Our town of just under 2,000 people welcomes 15,000 to 20,000 friends, family and visitors each year for the Fourth of July Parade alone! Local people from our community provide the many volunteer hours that it takes to host this event. Without additional financial support we will not be able to continue this valued tradition.
