She was a very driven, giving person who always exceeded expectations. Over the years she held many jobs some of which she was able to use her creative skills. In her younger years she was a very talented wig stylist and hair model. After she married, she was able to stay home and take care of the two children until they became of an age for her to return to work. She then worked for the small grocery store in Grand Meadow, then a receptionist, then a convenience store manager at two different places and then finally landed her dream job of being a landscape designer. She loved everything about plants and flowers. Creating the front or back yards for people was her passion. She would not only design but also be the one digging holes. It was during this career that she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. For a few years following her diagnosis she fought through her disease and continued to create amazing landscapes.

Colleen is survived by her husband Paul “Bob” Losey of Grand Meadow, two children; Crystal (Devlan) Thorson of Boise, Idaho and Tate (Fiancé Michelle Germann) Losey of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, two grandchildren Logan and Cora and one brother Craig Currey of Crystal Lake, Illinois.
