RAPID CITY, S.D. — Authorities are rounding up suspects in what they say is a burglary ring responsible for stealing tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of vehicles, TVs and other items in South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa.

Police have arrested three suspects so far. Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jason Gearman tells the Argus Leader newspaper that stealing “seems to be almost a full-time job” for the thieves.

The latest arrest came Tuesday night, in Sioux Falls. Authorities had offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the capture of the suspect, who was considered armed and dangerous.
