The Hayfield softball team beat Cannon Falls (2-10 overall, 1-5 HVL) 24-2 in five innings on the road Monday.

Grace Mindrup had two homers and four RBIs for the Vikings (9-4 overall, 4-4 HVL) and Carrie Rutledge had a homer and four RBIs. The Vikings also turned a triple play in the win.
