The Austin boys golf team took second place in its home quadrangular in Austin Country Club Monday.

Albert Lea won the meet with a 328, the Packers shot a 341, Rochester Mayo shot a 354 and Owatonna shot a 355. Austin was led by James Snee, who shot an 84, and all six Packers shot below a 90.

“The good news is, I don’t think I’ve ever had six scores under 90, but I was hoping we would take advantage of a little home course cooking,” Austin head coach Matt Raso said. “The guys are capable of shooting a little bit better.”
