The No. 3 Blooming Prairie softball team lost 4-2 at No. 2 Faribault Bethlehem Academy (15-6 overall) in a Section 1A West semifinal in Faribault Wednesday.

BP (8-13 overall) had runners at the corners with one out in the top of the seventh, but it wasn’t able to knock a run in.

McKenna Hein had a two-run single for the Awesome Blossoms to make it a 3-2 game in the fourth.

BP will now take on No. 4-seeded Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton in an elimination game in Todd Park 2:30 p.m. Friday.
