The Austin softball team couldn’t overcome a tough inning as they lost 8-4 at Rochester John Marshall (6-6 overall, 4-4 Big Nine) Thursday.

The game was tied at 3-3 going into the bottom of the third, when the Rockets rallied for five unearned runs.

Austin’s Shayley Vesel, who recently committed to NIACC, went three-for-four with two doubles and two RBIs and Jordan Huntley went three-for-four with a homer.
