Delores T. Murphy, 87, of Austin, Minnesota, died Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Our House Memory Care.

Delores was born March 25, 1929, in Austin, Minnesota, to Lawrence and Cecilia Kimpell. She grew up in Austin and attended St. Augustine School. On Nov. 10, 1945, she married William R. Campbell. He passed away in 1980 and Delores was remarried to Elton Murphy in August 1985.

Delores enjoyed camping, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. She worked as a waitress at the Normandy Café and Cavern Lounge. Delores also worked for J.C. Penney.

Survivors include her daughter, Janet (Larry) Powers, Rogers, Minnesota; son, William (Diane) Campbell, Austin, Minnesota; grandchildren, Tony (Ameyo) Campbell, Tracey (Mark) Williams, Torey (Andrey) Alabin; great grandchildren, William Campbell, Alexander Campbell, Adina Campbell, Abigail Campbell, Anastasia Alabin, Anderson Alabin, Aleksey Alabin; step children, Brenda Bakken, Denise Dawson, Craig Murphy, and Jason Murphy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, William and Elton; three sisters; three brothers.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2016, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Raul Silva officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at the church on Monday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
