Charles L. Baldus, 74, of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, died Monday, April 17, 2016, at his home.

Charles was born in 1942 to Wilbert and Winifred Baldus in Austin, Minnesota. He graduated from Austin High School in 1960. After serving in the U.S. Navy for four years, he worked at IBM, Western Electric, Sears, Grace and Mary Mother churches, and for the school district. He retired in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister, Anna Marie.

Charles is survived by his sisters, Kimber Baldus, Virginia (nee, Johnson, Richard) Stensrud; brother, Tom Johnson; niece, Dawn Meadows; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Interment will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
