Carolan files to seek his 2nd term

Austin City Council member Jeremy Carolan is seeking a second term in the city’s 3rd Ward.
Carolan, 37, said he enjoys talking to citizens and working with the city to make things better for citizens.
“Being mindful of tax payer money [and] continue to see business grow and expand,” Carolan said are some of his goals. “Encourage people to live, work and play here, [and] continue to work on Vision 2020 viable goals.”
He added he would also encourage outdoor recreation and is looking for ward to working with citizens, staff and council members.
He said he would also like to accommodate or have suggestions to better the city and make it better for the citizens.
Carolan also serves on the Austin Port Authority board, Austin-Mower Homeownership board and Blazing Star Joint Powers board. He was born and raised in Austin and lives in town with his wife Brytnie and their four children: Ian, 6; Lexy, 3; Allie, 2; and Reid, 2 months.
