Baseball: Dublin delivers game-winning hit for Vikings

The Hayfield baseball team rallied back to pick up a 3-1 win at Pine Island (9-5 overall) Tuesday.

Dominic Dublin delivered the game-winning hit when he knocked in two runs with a two-out single in the top of the seventh inning.

Adam Younge picked up the mound win for the Vikings (8-7 overall) as he scattered eight hits and six walks. Hayfield had some solid play from its freshman shortstop Mason Tapp.

“He made some nice plays on some nice line drives,” Hayfield head coach Kasey Krekling said of Tapp.
