Vivian Rose (Huber) Dotzenrod, 95, born in Austin, Minnesota, on Dec. 5, 1920, passed away peacefully on Jan. 25, 2016, at NHC Healthcare, St. Louis, Missouri.
Vivian was a longtime resident of New Orleans and Prairieville, Louisiana, before moving to the St. Louis area for the last six-and-a-half years of her life.
Vivian is survived by her daughter Mary Jo (Dotzenrod) Dobroski and son-in-law Brent; a son Neil J. Dotzenrod and daughter-in-law Dava; four grandchildren, Sean, Rachel, Lisa and Sarah; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother John A. Huber of Rochester, Minnesota, and formerly of Austin; also many nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband of 57 years, Neil W. Dotzenrod; she was also preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Esther (Judd) Huber; and a brother Gerald W. Huber.
She will be interred alongside her husband at Calvary Cemetery in Austin, Minnesota, on May 6, 2016. There will be a visitation at 10 a.m. and a memorial mass beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine Church in Austin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer ‘s Association (www.alz.org) are preferred.
