William E. Kottner, 68, of Austin, Minnesota, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota. He was born May 25, 1947, in Austin, the son of Alfred and Jean (Rudesill) Kottner. Bill graduated from Austin High School in 1965. He continued his education at Austin Junior College and the University of Minnesota.

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, time at the family cabin, and following Minnesota sports. He especially liked canoeing in Quetico Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada.

A private family service was held Sunday, April 24, 2016.
