The Austin FFA General Livestock evaluation team competed at South Dakota State University’s Little International Judging Contest on April 1. Members evaluated several classes of beef, swine and sheep. There were 81 teams and 437 individuals from Minnesota, South Dakota and Iowa at the contest. Austin placed first overall as a team. Noah Carroll placed fifth individual, Kristine Schechinger placed sixth individual, Hannah Burkhart placed eighth individual and Michael Carroll placed 64th individual.
