Y’s Women Club

Y’s Women Club met March 10 at the Hormel Historic Home.

John Garry, Executive Director Development Corporation of Austin gave an interesting presentation on economics, wages, diversity, jobs and age of the population of Austin and area cities. He also showed some interesting slides of Austin from the past and present.

At the business meeting we discussed sponsoring a spring luncheon and card party. Hostesses were Donna Maas and Anita Ulwelling.

The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. on April 14 at the Hormel Historic Home. The program will be by Al Batt, writer and humorist. Husbands are cordially invited to attend.
