Miller’s late goal pushes Bruins past Brookings

The Austin Bruins won in dramatic fashion as they edged out Brookings (19-24-6 overall) 4-3 on the road Friday night.
Austin (24-22-4 overall) scored two third period goals and Jade Miller, who is from Minot, N.D., scored the game-winning goal with just 38 seconds left in regulation. Miller now has a league leading 10 game winning goals and 25 total goals on the season.
The Bruins tied the game at 3-3 when Travis Kothenbeutel scored early in the third period.
Austin had led 1-0 and 2-1, but the Bobcats took their first lead of the night when Toby Sengvongxay scored with 1:24 left in the second period.
Kristofer Carlson had 30 saves for Austin.
