Ryan McCormack is a senior infielder on the Packer baseball team.
Q: How did you originally get into your sport?
A: I decided in second grade that it would be a fun sport to try out and I have played ever since.
Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?
A: Participating in the 2015 Legion Baseball state tournament.
Q: What have you learned from playing sports?
A: I have learned how to work with others as a team, how to balance sports, social life and school, and what it takes to become a good leader.
Q: What is the hardest part about your sport?
A: At-Bats; they take a lot of patience, focus, and skill.
Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?
A: My biggest baseball role model would have to be Bryce Harper. He’s a great baseball player that stays humble regardless of his success, and off the field he is a well-respected guy.
Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?
A: Lone Survivor and Breaking Bad.
Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: Social Studies.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: Professional athlete.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Pasta.
Q: What are your plans after high school?
A: Attend Riverland or UW-Eau Claire pursuing an undecided major.
Q: What’s a fun fact about you or hobby you enjoy most people don’t know about?
A: I enjoy doing anything in the outdoors.
