Celebrate Easter this weekend with great food and hunting for Easter eggs. With the recent snow, let’s hope the eggs are dyed bright colors to make them easier to find!

1. Knights of Columbus Easter Egg Hunt

9-10 a.m. Saturday, Driesner Park, front of Queen of Angels Church

Enjoy this free Easter egg hunt for children ages 12 and under. This annual event is put on by the Knights of Columbus.

2. Cedar River Rabbit Club spring show

7 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Packer Arena

See real bunnies on Easter up close and live this weekend at the annual Cedar River Rabbit Club spring show. The event will feature more than 1,000 rabbits and is free and open to the public.

3. Annual Easter Event

9 -10:30 a.m. Saturday, Westminster Presbyterian Church

Bring the kids out to this free event with entertainment by Jim Jayes, carnival, crafts and snacks. The Easter story will be told and an egg hunt will follow. All children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, visit www.westminsteraustin.com.

4. Community Easter Dinner

12 p.m. -2 p.m. Sunday, Christ Episcopal Church

Enjoy a free meal that is open to the public. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by calling 507-433-3782.

5. Grand Easter Brunch

10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Austin Holiday Inn Conference Center

This Easter let the Holiday Inn do all the hard work so you can relax and enjoy. Adults ages 13 to 54 are $18.95, seniors ages 55 and older are $15.95, children ages 2 to 12 are $9.95, and children under 2 are free. For reservations or more information, call 507-433-8000.
