The No. 3 seeded Southland boys basketball team topped No. 6 Blooming Prairie 52-45 in a Section 1A West quarterfinal tournament game in Adams Thursday.

Jared Landherr had 15 points for the Rebels (11-12 overall) and Josh Anderson had 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists.

Anthony Nelson had 14 points, six rebounds and seven steals for BP (10-17 overall).

The Rebels will play No. 2 Grand Meadow in the Section 1A West semifinals in Mayo Auditorium in Civic Center in Rochester 7:30 p.m. Monday.
